Recently I went all the way to Asia and this is what I learned…
One of my favorite scenes from Muppets in Manhattan explains it well:

People are people. People groups are made up of real people. Real faces, real lives, real souls.

While in Asia I rejoiced over the new life of a baby boy and grieved at the loss of a teenage son.

People get up in the morning.  They pray, take their kids to school and go to work.

Where I visited most of the women wear head scarves, or jilbab, to show their devotion to Islam.

Some of the men wear white caps to represent their pilgrimage to Mecca.

Underneath, they’re just people. God loves them. And now that I’ve met them, so do I.
