In April 2012, God provided encouragement and a push in the right direction when Matt attended a paradigm shifting partnership development training in Colorado. While he was there, I was home alone with the kiddos. If you’ve read previous blog posts, you may have guessed 2011 through early 2012 was rough. Our youngest was fussy and our oldest had a bout of terrible twos that lasted for two years.

So in the Lord’s perfect timing, after another battle of the wills: mother vs. 3 year old, I had a meltdown in the church nursery that Sunday. Thus my dear friends saw my whit’s end (haha) and took over. One of them gave me a hug and said to me, “You’re a good mom.” To which I responded with more tears.

You’re a good mom.

I felt anything but.  Think the Lord knew that I needed to hear that?

Then they babysat the kids that afternoon and invited us to dinner that night. The Lord provides!

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

2 Cor. 12:9
