Matt Whitacre

A friend of my mom’s makes beautiful jewelry and decided to hold a house party and donate a large percentage of the proceeds to support us. There was a great turnout!

We traveled to our old stomping grounds for Matt to teach an ABF session about unreached people groups. A gracious family, who had never met us before, opened their home to us and warmly welcomed us.  We had a refreshing time getting to know them, hearing their heart for missions and wishing we lived closer! They are a great example of advancing missions, encouraging missionaries, and mobilizing people from where God has placed them in the U.S.

Friends handed us a check, which Matt put in his pocket without looking at it. Matt stopped at a gas station and had to go inside the store to pay. He decided to put $50 in the tank. Later we looked at the check and realized it was…yep, you guessed it…$50.

The Lord also provided more partners through that trip.

God provides.
